The film is not Russian, as well as the director himself. Efrem Pruzhanskiy lived and worked in Kyiv, at „Kyivnaukfilm“. Ukrainian animation was a part of Soviet animation at that time, but it shouldn’t be mixed up with the Rusian animation school.
